Book review - I Love Dad by J. M. Walsh and Judi Abbot

Father's Day this year is on the 21st June, and what better gift than one which a Dad can share with his child? I Love Dad by J. M. Walsh and Judi Abbot is a lovely book which is perfect for little ones and their dads to read together.

The book is the sweet tale of a dinosaur who has a wonderful day playing, cycling and cooking with his Dad. They make card houses, tell stories and go for walks in the park. At night, as he snuggles up in bed, the little dinosaur excitedly looks forward to all the things that he'll do with his dad the next day.

All the activities in the book will be recognisable to young children and there are certain to be many things that your child will easily be able to relate to. For our children it was a Dad that loves to eat pizza! It's a really sweet story packed with gorgeous illustrations. It's also fun to read aloud, with exciting description and rhymes to make the text flow.

This book follows on from I Love Mum, and is from the bestselling duo behind The Perfect Hug and The Biggest Kiss.

I received a copy of this book to review, Amazon link is affiliate.
